It lies in the Kavango and Zambezi River basins where Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe converge. Jewels in the crown of this spectacular array of protected areas are the 15,000 km2 Okavango Delta, an explosion of green and blue in parched landscape – the world’s largest inland delta, and the awe-inspiring tumbling cataracts of the Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site and one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Meet Your Zambian Host and a short transfer to Livingston which is about 12 kilomètres. The small town of Livingstone established in pre-colonial times is the Zambian base for visitors to the Victoria Falls.
The town of Livingstone, named after David Livingstone – the first European to set eyes on the Victoria Falls and the surrounding area, sits on a sandy plateau in the Southern Province of Zambia. It was established in 1907 and it was Zambia’s capital in pre-colonial times.

They are not the widest waterfall or the highest waterfall but with all dimensions considered, including almost the largest flow rate, Victoria Falls is the biggest curtain of falling water in the world surpassing the magnificent Niagara Falls and Iguacu Falls.

Chobe National Park
Famous for its phenomenal wildlife – Chobe is the third largest park in Botswana encompassing swamps, floodplains, and woodlands.
The Chobe River, which is without doubt one of Africa’s most beautiful rivers, forms its northern boundary and in the extreme south-west it borders the Moremi Game Reserve. The Park is famous for its wildlife and supports a diversity and concentration unlike anywhere else in Botswana. In the dry winter months over 50 000 elephants can converge on the Chobe River to drink – an awe-inspiring sight.

Guarantee this will be one of those days that you will remember for the rest of your life and whatever time of year you go you are going to get wet. very wet.
These trips start early with pick up from your Accommodations between 7h00 and 7h30. After a short drive to the edge of the gorge a thorough safety talk is given explaining in detail what you are likely to expect during the day and how to deal with any situation.
After rapid 19 you then have to walk out the gorge which is a very steep climb of about 250m and should not be underestimated if you have any fitness issues.
At the top of the gorge lunch is served and there are plenty of cold drinks and beers after which you are then transported back into town, arriving in town by around 2.30pm, allowing enough time to do another afternoon activity, if you are up for it.

Walk With Lions: Walk with The Pride……
Prepare to have all your “Lion King dreams” come true as you befriend and interact with two gorgeous, playful cub lions. You’ll be able to watch the cubs run, play, groom and cuddle right next to you ! There are absolutely no chains or collars involved in the walks, just the company of your professional guides, who have, over the past months, become part of these cubs’ young pride.
After your walk, light snacks and drinks will be available for you to enjoy before you head back into town and Discover Victoria Falls and back to Zambia in the late afternoon.
